Why Automate?
There are a number of reasons why an automated system is more productive than a manually driven process.
- An automated robotic system can operate on a 24 hour per day, 7 day per week basis to better service the operational needs of the organisation's operations.
- Where a process might be extremely labour intensive and unsafe, the work could be performed by a robot with a lifting capacity of up to 500kg. The robots are built to withstand conditions of up to approximately 50 degrees celsius and are able to operate in a dusty or damp environment.
- Automated robotic cells are fully assembled and tested at our factory before delivery. Customer training in all aspects of operation of the cell is also given. Site installation time and costs are therefore minimised and operations are up to speed in the shortest practical time.
- To improve product consistency, the process is constantly replicated. There are no short cuts, mixed samples or missed operations.
- The overall system is able to be operated at it’s optimum level of performance all day, every day without being subjected to any operator abuse. Unscheduled down time is minimised and maintenance costs are lowered.
- Elimination of direct operators reduces occupational health and safety costs.
